SATIRE DALAM GEGURITAN “SERERE ADHUH LAE” KARYA TURIYO RAGILPUTRO (Satire in Geguritan “Serere Adhuh Lae” By Turiyo Ragilputro)

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan ideology penciptaan geguritan “Serere Adhuh Lae” karya Turiyo Ragilputro. Fenomena sosial budaya masyarakat Jawa agraris-modernis terefleksi dalam tafsir satir terhadap geguritan “Serere Adhuh Lae” karya Turiyo Ragilputro, pemenang lomba penulisan puisi yang diselenggarakan oleh Taman Budaya Yogyakarta tahun 1991 dan menjadi bagian dalam antologi geguritan Gludhug Segara Kidul, pemenang hadiah Rancage tahun 2009. Kerangka berpikir teoretis menggunakan sosiologi sastra Janet Wolff dan pendekatan sosiologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa geguritan, “Serere Adhuh Lae” adalah ekspresi satiris emosional yang memaparkan resistensi masyarakat tradisional terhadap masyarakat urban yang berasal dari budaya agraris.

The research aims to find literary work ideology on geguritan “Serere Adhuh Lae” by Turiyo Ragilputro. Social-cultural phenomena of Agrarian and modernise a society is reflected in satire as interpretation to geguritan, “Serere Adhuh Lae” by Turiyo Ragilputro as the winner of poetry competition held by Taman Budaya Yogyakarta in 1991 and the part of geguritan anthology Gludhug Segara Kidul, the winner of Rancage award in 2009. The theoretical framework uses literary theory of Janet Wolff and sociological approach. The result shows that geguritan, “Serere Adhuh Lae” is a satirical emotional expression which presenting traditional resistance to urban society who were originated from agrarian culture.
