SANGGAR-SANGGAR SASTRA JAWA DAN INDONESIA DI YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 1991—2020 (JAVANESE DAN INDONESIAN LITERARY COMMUNITIES IN YOGYAKARTA BETWEEN 1991—2020)

Abstract


Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dinamika tumbuh-hilangnya komuntias sastra di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tindakan dan upaya pemertahanan komunitas sastra Jawa dan Indonesia di Yogyakarta pada tahun 1991 hingga 2020. Perspektif sistem sosial dari Talcott Parsons meliputi tindakan (aktor, tujuan, situasi, dan sarana) dan pemertahanan sistem (adaptasi, tujuan, integritas, dan pola) menjadi landasan untuk mengetahui tindakan pendirian dan pemertahanan komunitas sastra Jawa dan Indonesia di Yogyakarta. Tahapan penelitian, antara lain (1) penentuan objek material dan formal penelitian, (2) penentuan dan pengambilan data, (3) analisis data, dan (4) penarikan simpulan. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa (1) sejumlah aktor tidak hanya membidani lahirnya satu kamunitas, tetapi turut serta memrakarsai lahirnya komuntias lainnya; (2) pendirian komunitas didasari pada keprihatinan terhadap minimnya kepedulian masyarakat terhadap sastra, terlebih sastra Jawa; (3) keberadaan komunitas tersebut terejawantahkan melalui serangkaian aktivitas pemanggungan, pelatihan penulisan, dan penerbitan buku; (4) komunitas beradaptasi dengan menetapkan serangkaian perangkat hukum, semisal berbadan hukum dan kepemilikan AD/ART, untuk menunjukkan sebagai komuntias yang memiliki integritas secara internal maupun eksternal; dan (5) pola manajemen pengelolaan komunitas terdiri atas pengelolaan mandiri, berkolaborasi dengan pengayom (instansi pemerintah dan kampus), berorientasi pada profit.

 

This research is motivated by the dynamic condition of literary community in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the actions and efforts to maintain the Javanese and Indonesian literary communities in Yogyakarta from 1991 to 2020. The social system perspective of Talcott Parsons includes actions (actors, goals, situations, and means) become the basis for knowing the actions of establishing and maintaining Javanese and Indonesian literary communities in Yogyakarta. The research stages include (1) determining the material and formal object of research, (2) determining and collecting data, (3) analysing data, and (4) drawing conclusions. From this research, it is known that (1) a number of actors not only gave the birth to one community, but also initiated the birth of another community; (2) the establishment of the community is based on concern for the lack of public awareness of literature, especially Javanese literature; (3) the existence of the community is realized through a series of staging activities, writing training, and book publishing; (4) the community adapts by establishing a series of legal instruments, such as legal entities and ownership of   memorandum and article of association (AD/ART)   to show as community that has internal and external integrity; and (5) the pattern of community management consists of self-management collaborating with patrons (government institutions and campuses) oriented to profit.
