STUDENT ANXIETY DURING ONLINE LEARNING IN A PANDEMIC CONDITION (KECEMASAN SISWA SELAMA PEMBELAJARAN ONLINE DALAM KONDISI PANDEMI)

Abstract


Munculnya pandemi di Indonesia membuat sistem pendidikan berubah menjadi pembelajaran online. Saat pembelajaran online, siswa diharapkan menjadi lebih aktif dalam mencari informasi dan materi pembelajaran dari berbagai sumber. Akses internet adalah hal yang sangat penting ketika pembelajaran dilakukan. Hal ini menimbulkan beberapa kecemasan siswa dalam pembelajaran online. Siswa akan merasa cemas ketika mereka kehilangan akses internet saat pembelajaran mereka belum selesai. Terlebih saat pengumpulan tugas, mereka harus mencari informasi mengenai platfrom mana yang digunakan dan sebelum itu mereka harus melihat ketersediaan jaringan internet yang mereka miliki. Dalam pembelajaran online, siswa merasa guru lebih banyak memberi tugas dibandingkan dengan menjelaskan materi pembelajaran. Hal tersebut menimbulkan kecemasan siswa seperti stress dan bosan. Mereka juga cemas akan prestasi mereka selama pembelajaran online berlaku. Interaksi antara siswa dengan siswa dan guru dengan siswa menjadi sangat terbatas.

 

The emergence of a pandemic in Indonesia has made the education system turn into online learning. When doing online learning, students are expected to be more active in finding information and learning materials from various sources. Internet access is very important when learning is done. This raises some student anxiety in online learning. Students will feel anxious when they lose internet access when their learning has not been completed. Especially when collecting assignments, they have to look for information about which platform to use and before that, they have to see the availability of the internet network they have. In online learning, students feel that the teacher gives more assignments than explains the learning material. This causes student anxiety such as stress and boredom. They are also worried about their achievements during online learning. The interaction between students and students and teachers with students is very limited.
